i first met jillian's sister, jenna and it was planning heaven!! we worked together to create a GORGEOUS bridal shower (see pictures at the end of this post) for her baby sister at the fairmont copley plaza hotel then met up again to design blooms for jill's fall nuptials.
i couldn't be more excited to have the chance to see jenna again (hopefully soon) to design her best gal pal's wedding next may!! it's my favorite when we have the chance to work with amazing client's over and over!!

jill's bridal bouquet was filled with white, ivory & champagne roses with white calla lilies accents by the coolest organic elements! cotton, scabiosa pods, white snow berry and brazilia berries.
we used these blooms and accents throughout the couple's wedding decor. the ceremony was held in the barn. down the aisle, rose petals lined the chairs... and the chairs held mason jars with bark twine arrangements.
**k's tip... design arrangements for the ceremony with more than 1 purpose. i often suggest to client's if the ceremony and reception are held in the same venue designing arrangements for the chairs down the aisle can later be placed on cocktail tables. another good use of ceremony decor... arrangements placed at the front of the aisle on either side of the couple are great for the place card table or stationary food tables.
guests dined at tables dressed in the barn's house linen (which are fabulous! see my tip below about upgraded linen) with 2 styles of table arrangements. the first were taller cylinder vases filled with curly willow and white snow berries. On the alternate table's... moss bedded gold compotes with mini white pumpkins nestled on the moss, filled with accenting floral arrangements that complimented jill's blooms in her bouquet.
**k's tip... house linen (meaning what the caterer or venue offers with your standard package) is great... when it comes to the floor and is well laundered. white cotton linen can often hold stains and colors from previous washes and be more apparent than in an ivory cotton. if you really want white linen, upgrade to a damask, lamour or bengaline. the white is more crisp and feels rich. ivory linen is a lovely base for almost every color palette. thinking about upgrading your linens, speak with peterson party center or table toppers of newton... some of the best in the biz!!!!
such an amazing wedding... and here's a little sneak peak of jillian's summer bridal shower
