In French, brocante means flea market. Though there are many to choose from, I always head to the Foire de Chatou. It's namesake comes from the market's tradition of roasting a pig on site.

Located in St. Germain, L'Entrecôte is a must for dinner. Don't be deterred by the long line; it's absolutely worth the wait! After you are seated, you're served a basket of bread and a bottle of wine. There is no menu! Everyone is served their famous steak frites.

4. Coco Chanel's apartment

Located at 31 Rue de Cambon, Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel's private apartment rests above the company's flagship boutique. Her apartment was preserved after her death in 1971, and the iconic staircase that held many of her fashion shows is open for visitors to explore.
