i first meet our featured blushing bride, crystal with her mom, deb and grandmother, dottie and i was in love with them all! always excited for les fleurs to design flowers for weddings at the crane estate this was just as exciting and a bit more involved. we worked closely together for the next 10 months on chairs, linens, arrangements and design for crystal and adam's august nuptials. bridesmaid's wore eggplant dresses that were beautifully accented by monochromatic purple bouquets of hydrangea, roses and lisianthis... we continued the purple into the reception under the tent. with some help from boston uplights (who is amazing!) crystal's favorite color set the tone for the evening.

crystal carried a simple ivory & white bouquet of roses, lisianthis, white stock and stephanotis... of course adorned with none other than crystals!!

for each of crystal's 5 bridesmaid's a charm with a photo of the bride with her dear friend was added to the stem's of the bouquets, what a sweet keepsake

table toppers of newton
|
high top cocktail tables were dressed in (my personal favorite) cream taffeta circle linens. the super flirty and feminine fabric danced in the cool sea breeze as guests mingled before being invited into the tent for dinner.

linens and chairs were from table toppers in newton. silver romance added a lovely texture to the tables. white chivari ballroom chairs with white satin cushions created a clean, summer feel to the interior of the tent.

tall and low centerpieces in crystal's beloved purple were just the splash of color this beautiful tent needed. i loved the cool, clean look of the silver and whites... as soon as we added the centerpieces to the tent, it all came alive! it's amazing what just a bit of color can do.

from each of the tall centerpieces we draped crystal garlands... after the wedding the girls gathered up all the garlands and crystal & adam plan to use the strands on their christmas tree (my favorite ever is when couple's are able to incorporate a little something from their wedding day into their daily lives. so much time goes into planning for this big day, it's such a great way to commemorate the day by using some elements in different ways!)
