choose and prepare your flowers. cut blooms about 2"-3" from the base of the flower for enough stem to play with (i used a whole bunch of standard carnations for this, 25 stems)

| i choose to work with carnations because of their lacy petals and hardiness to the oasis form. a bloom with a strong stem is super important! |

| don't push the flowers too far into the form... you can adjust the shape after you have all your blooms in place |
