our big van all packed up and ready to go!  it was an amazing sunday afternoon for a wedding.  the weather was warm for early may, but beautiful... the sun was shining and
love was in the air!

the ceremony was held on the grounds across the street from the smith barn... accented in purple, ashley's favorite color!  we placed sheppards hook's down the aisle, every other chair.  from the hooks hung mason jars tied up with lilac satin ribbon, all shades of purple wild flowers were in the jars.

for outside ceremony's it is rare to place an aisle runner on the grass.  why you ask?  most venue's will not allow the fabric pinned on their lawn and the risk of the soft ground, heel's from shoes will pierce the runner and you'll look like you have the BIGGEST piece of toilet paper stuck to your shoe ever... hehe.  for ashley and david's nuptials we used ivory burlap, pinned on either side and romantically scattered purple rose petals.

inside the barn round dinner tables were dressed with white cotton linens with neutral burlap table runners (runner made and supplied by les fleurs).  alternating floral arrangements and orchid plants in tuscan pottery were designed for ashley and david's reception.

purple and white blooms such as orchids, roses, lilac and clematis were tucked amongst solemn seal, rosemary and hosta in the low style flower arrangements.

continuing with the organic feeling we all worked so hard to create, the AMAZING debi and cheryl with TableSensations added ashley and david's botanical illustration seed packets to designate each table.  we added fresh, plum colored artichokes to each floral table scape.  we were SOO happy when we came across the "artichoke" table!!

scalloped edge tuscan pottery was used to keep a "designer" farm feel to all the pieces.

we are soo looking forward to sharing more from ashley and david's beautiful day... we'll post them as soon as they come in!!  to contact any of the vendors we worked with together on a&d's wedding... the see the links to each of their website's above.

ashley and david... mazal tov! we wish you both all the happiness!!
