i... can't... even... i LOVE this wedding soo much and i'm just the florist ;o)
i first met meghan in our shop because she stumbled across a wedding we did flowers for. while she was looking for a photographer she came across a wedding that her photographer (addie roberge) second shot on (see nicole and erik's wedding here... lesfleursandover.blogspot.fruitlands-museum-summer-tent-wedding. ) which led her to les fleurs! lucky coincidence i'd say!
a beautiful balance of soft romance and a fresh summer palette look lovely together for this summer fruitlands tent wedding!
the picturesque background of fruitlands museum is an amazing location for an outdoor ceremony. more rustic or organic archways and chuppa's compliment the spaces natural look. the fieldstone wall with it's creeping greenery is perfectly old-new england. i mean seriously with this view... gorg! simple greenery with lush blooms brings a little color to this archway. it is one of my favorite birch arch's i've seen!! rental companies will offer different styles as well as this is a great d.i.y. project if someone is handy... just keep in mind the wind. a well staked archway is very important!!
under the perfectly white tent guests were treated to super tasty food by fireside catering, (tim is wonderful) and to colorful arrangements that created conversation throughout. we designed a few styles of arrangements in meghan's containers. wooden boxes filled with lush local herbs and greenery alternated tables with peaches and white's & pinks.
different mercury votives add to the table scape too! there is no rule stating everything must be the same. wedding styles that are more "casual" (*in an outdoors way casual) lends itself to random. i like to make sure there are consistency's throughout the space for example similar colors or flowers used, same table numbers or all the tables to have candles.
sending you both a lifetime of love & happiness!
