peonies are one of my TOP 5 FAVORITE flowers. each year i can NOT wait until they arrive in the market and buy them every chance i can until the market has ran dry with peonies (which comes WAYYY TOOO soon!! usually end of june to the occasional beginning of july) i will probably make peonies the flower of the day a few times as the varieties flurry into the flower market!!
the peony flower is indigenous to our region here in MA and can be planted and grown in your garden!! ryan and i have the most beautiful in bloom and fragrant white peony plant called, Duchesse de Nemours (click here to read about peony varieties)
still on the bush... |
i can't resist cutting and enjoying a few stunning blooms!! |
xo, kerianne & the fleurette's
